I've been dancing since I was a toddler, though since working with Devika Teacher, I've become more accustomed to expressing emotions through more body movement, facial gestures, and eye movements. The way teacher and her students danced gave me another view of dance when I first came to Devika Teacher. After only a few lessons with teacher, I started to truly enjoy dancing, mostly because of the way teacher taught. How serenely and kindly Devika teacher teaches each of her children is one of my favorite aspects of her teaching style. She emits a special energy that I don't often see in others, which is what makes her such a nice person and teacher. Additionally, the way Devika Teacher dances is extremely inspiring to my friends and I. She assists us in recognizing that dance should not be performed strictly according to the teacher's instructions; rather, a student's contribution from the heart to express emotions will suffice to classify as dance. I wished that I joined Sattvika much earlier regardless Sattvika would be one of the main reasons why I would dance throughout my life.

Seven years before my daughter joined Sattvika, she hadn't joined just a dance class but a whole family. Devika Nair is a multi-talented and dedicated teacher. Her passion for dance is beyond words! She's an amazing teacher, and extremely professional. Her choreographic skills are unique and unmatched. She not only teaches dance but also provides opportunities for her students to showcase their talents through various stage performances. I am truly thankful and fortunate to have such a wonderful teacher for my daughter.

Joining Sattvika Dance Academy, has been one of my best decisions I've ever made. Our team is as close as family; sharing our materials, helping to make sure we do our best, correcting each other, and learning from one another. Devika Teacher always makes the extra effort to help improve our dance and show our full potential. The utmost dedication Devika Teacher has for the arts is beyond words. I have learned many lifelong lessons from Teacher over the years, one being how to tell a story with just expressions. I didn't realize what I was capable of until Teacher pushed me. I grew to truly love dance and embrace it as a part of who I am. I will forever be thankful for the Academy.

I have been learning from Devika teacher for about 7 years now and she is an amazing and very talented teacher. Throughout these wonderful 7 years, I have improved so much and I have built a special bond with teacher and all my dance mates. Dancing with teacher is so fun because she is so patient and caring in her style of teaching. Devika teacher's choreography is the best that I have ever seen. She can come up with intricate but beautiful steps on the spot that fits all our dancing styles. Whenever I go out to perform with my group, I don't have any doubt that the audience will love the performance because we have been blessed with the best teacher!
